وداعا يا رمضان إسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته  Hey guys, Anticlimactic, isn't it? Bidding the month farewell, And getting excited for Eid? It is bitter sweet, I'll say. Alhamdulillah for being amongst those chosen to witness its start and finish. Alhamdulillah for those who were called back to Allah, and to Him shall we all return, those who preceded us in good, May Allah forgive them and those with us and those who will succeed us, may Allah preserve them and us upon khair, ameen.  I had a bunch of ideas on what I wanted the last checker to be about, extending from making a leaking bucket list on mannerism, habits and things about ourselves to be in the look out for and curb, a recount of how my Ramadan was, the difference between it and the previous ones, this time I can really tell lol Alhamdulillah, that one's quite personal, isn't it? Might bore a bunch of you. Post Ramadan Iman uppers... but now, my heart's at a place.  Perhaps Shukr is that place. ...

O Tranquil Soul, Return to your Lord well pleased and pleasing to Him...  There's a beautiful phrase the companions and better generations succeeding them would use concerning ibadah, they would say without sometimes giving a definitive number of an act, say, raka'at in salah.  " He prayed as much as was written" for him" (in first person's term, the narrator says "I prayed as much as was written for me." The example of this is the Hadith of Bilal bin Rabbah RA transmited by Abu Hurairah RA; Abu Huraira reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to Bilal at the time of dawn prayer, “O Bilal, tell me of the most hopeful deed you practiced in Islam. I heard the scuffle of your sandals before me in Paradise.” Bilal said, “The most hopeful deed to me is that I do not perform ablution by day or night but that I pray along with it as much as Allah has decreed me to pray.” Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 1149, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim...

سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا  We hear and Obey Contrary to popular definition, Islam does not mean "Peace", although the word stems from the same root as Salaam; Aslama literally means to submit, surrender,to obey Islam is both a verb and a noun at  at the same time. The first meaning of “Islam” is the verb of the root “aslama” (a verb)which means: surrender, to obey, submit sincerely   The second meaning of “Islam” is the nominal form of the same root, and describes the last form of the way of life prescribed by the Creator for His Creation. This is the name used in the Qur’an for Muslims to follow “Islam”. This would make them “Muslim” in English, but, of course, in Arabic, the prefix “mu” is added to denote what performes the action i.e the verb and instead becomes “mu” – “islam” or “Muslim Abdullah Sam - linguistic   study notes)  Now, what makes one truly a Muslim In Al-Ahzab 33:36, Allah سبحان وتعالى revealed ; وَمَا كَانَ لِمُؤْمِنٍ وَلَا مُؤْمِن...
